Applications are invited upto 5.45 p.m on 06/05/2009 for recruitment to the following post :

  • Jailor : 09 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.5900-9900/-, Age : 18-30 years, Qualification :
    A Degree of B.A. or B.Sc. or B.Com. or B.O.L. of Annamalai University or B.B.A. of Madurai Kamaraj University or B.Litt. of Madras Univertsity or B.B.M or B.Litt. of Bharathiar University. Preference shall be given to persons possessing Master’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice Administration and second preference shall be given to persons possessing Master’s degree in Social Work.

Filled in applications on OMR forms (available at the posts offices in Tamil Nadu/ Pudducherry) must be sent to the Controller of Examinations, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, Omanthoorar Government Estate, Anna Salai, Chennai – 600002 by Registered Post / Speed Post well in advance so as to reach the Commission’s Office before 5.45 p.m. on 06/05/2009.
