Recruitment drive for Sailors in Kolkata by Navy

Indian Navy invites unmarried Indian male citizen from West Bengal who are eligible candidates for Recruitment Drive at Kolkata on 16/04/2009 for Sailor - Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) - 2/2009 Batch Eligibility Conditions:

Age : Candidates to be born between 01 August 1988 to 31 July 1992; both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualifications : 10+2 (equivalent qualified with compulsory subjects Maths, and Physics, optional subjects Chemistry/ Biology/Computers.

Pay : During the initial training period they will be paid Rs.3200/-PM, on completion of initial training they will be posted in the regular pay scale.

Selection Criteria : Selection of recruits is based on the order of merit on their performance in Written Test (objective type and will comprise 4 section i.e. English, Science, Mathematics and GK), Physical Fitness Test (PFT) ( 1.6 km run to be completed in 7 minutes, 25 squat ups (Uthak Baithak), 10 push ups) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.

How to Apply: Candidates should come with (i) Original and one attested copy of Matriculation certificate (ii) Original and one attested copy of 10+2/ equivalent examination mark-sheet & certificate (iii) Original and one attested copy of NCC certificate, if any (iv) One self-addressed envelop of size 22x10 cms with Rs.10/- stamp affisxed. (v) Original and one attested photocopy of Certificate of Residence. (vi) Seven recent coloured passport size photographs

SSC Officer Observed Aviation Cadre Jan-2010 course

Indian Navy invites unmaried Men and Women to join Navy as Short Service Commissioned (SSC) Officer in Aviation Cadre (Observer) of Executive Branch Course Commencing - January 2010

Applications are invited from unmarried Male and Female Indian Citizens for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer in Aviation Cadre of Executive Branch of the Indian Navy for Course commencing January 2010 at Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala.

Eligibility Conditions:

Age : Between 21 to 23 years (candidates to be born between 02 January 1987 to 01 January 1991; both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualifications : A Graduate Degree in any discipline with an aggregate of 55% marks with Physics and Mathematics as main subjects at 10+2 level.

SSC : Short Service Commission is granted for a term of 10 years, extendable to 14 years, subject to service requirements and performance/willingness of the candidate.

UPSC NDA-II and NA Exam-2009

National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (II) - 2009

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the NDA-II and Naval Academy (NA) Examination, 2009 on 30th August, 2009 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wing of the NDA for 124th Course and Naval Academy for 44th [10+2 Executive Branch] course commencing 30th June 2010. Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible,

Eligibility:

  • Age : Born between 2nd July, 1991 and 1st January,1994.
  • Educational Qualificatio
    • for Army : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
    • For Air Force, Navy and Naval Academy : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University with Physics and Mathematics subjects
  • Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in notice.

Application Form: The candidates must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examinations, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/ Post offices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 20/- only.

Fee: Rs.50/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment (OBC candidates required to pay full fee).

How To Apply: All applications must reach the "Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069" either by hand or by Post/Speed Post or by courier on or before the 13th April, 2009. For the candidates from remore far flung areas the last date is 20th April, 2009.

Age : Candidates to be born between 01 Oct 1988 to 30 Sep 1992; both dates inclusive)


Educational Qualifications
: Candidates should have passed the 10th standard.


Musical Ability
: Should have proficiency in westorn national, aural aptitude, knowledge of theory of music and actual practical skill on any musical instrument.


Instruments on which Proficiency Required :
String, Key-board, Woodwind, Brass and Percussion Instruments both of Western and Indian Origin.


Pay Band :
PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2000 + MSP Rs.2000.


Selection Criteria :
Selection of recruits is based on the order of merit on their performance in Musical Screening Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.

Applications are invited from unmarried Male Indian Citizens for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer in Executive Branch of the Indian Navy as Pilot for Course commencing January 2010 at Naval Academy.


Eligibility Conditions
:


Age
: Between 19 to 23 years (candidates to be born between 02 January 1987 to 01 January 1991; both dates inclusive)


Educational Qualifications
: (a) A Graduate Degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.


Physical Standards
: Hight and Wieght : Minimum height Male - 162.5 cms with correlated weight. Eye Sight - The minimum acceptable standard for distant vision 6/6, 6/9 connectable to 6/6, 6/6 and should not be colour/night blind.


SSC
: Short Service Commission is granted for a term of 10 years, extendable to 14 years, subject to service requirements and performance/willingness of the candidate.


Officers of the as Pilot in Executive Branch will not be given any extension beyond fourteen years and will not be eligible for permanent commission.

(Physics) should have Physics in graduation (c) BE/B.Tech. with min. 55% marks in aggregate in any discipline (d) Scince Graduate (Physcis & Mathematics) from a recognised university holding NCC Naval Wing , Senior Div. 'C' Certificate can also apply (e) Graduate/ Post Graduate in Operations Analysts and Operational Research/ Quantitative methods with minimum 75% marks (f) Graduate/ Post Graduate in Mathematics with Probability or Statistics with minimum 75% marks from recognised university.


Physical Standards
: Hight and Wieght : Minimum height Male - 157 cms with correlated weight.


SSC
: Short Service Commission is granted for a term of 10 years, extendable to 14 years, subject to service requirements and performance/willingness of the candidate.
