Become a Junior Commission Officer (JCO) (Catering) in the Army

Applications are invited from male candidates only for recruitment as Junior Commissioned Officer (Catering) in the Indian Army who fulfill the following eligibility criteria :

• Vacancies : 04 posts
• Qualification : 10+2 or equivalent from any Educational board recognised by Council of Board of School Education in India. (ii) Diploma / Certificate course of a duration of one year or more in Cookery/ Hotel Management and Catering Technology from a recognised Food Craft Institute / University. Candidates should have working knowledge of either English or Hindi or both.
• Age : 21-27 years as on 08/10/2007.
• Physical Standard: As applicable to the regular army
• Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 plus Grade Pay Rs.4200 plus Military Service Pay Rs.2000 and allowances as per Central Government.

Method of Selection:

• Physical Fitness Test : After screening Physical Fitness test will be applicable as (i) 1 mile run in maximum 6.20 minutes and (ii) Pul up minimum of 6 (iii) Balance - Qualify (iv) 9 fit ditch - qualify
• Written Examination : Only those candidates selected in the screening will be permitted to appear in the written examination which will be conducted only at HQ Recruiting Zone on 05 June 2009. The test will be of 3 hours of 3 hours.
• Interview : Interview will be held for the scuccessful candidates of the written test

Recruitment of Havildar Education in the Army Educational Corps in Group 'X' and 'Y'

Havildar Education in Group 'X' and 'Y' are to be recruited for the army Education corps to impart education to troops.

• Total vacancy : 273 posts (Science- 133 , Arts -140)
• Age Limit : 20 to 25 years as on 05 Oct 2009.
• Educational Qualification : Group X - BA B.Ed. or B.Sc. B.Ed. or MA or M.Sc. from any recognised university. Group Y - BA or B.Sc. without B.Ed. from any recognised university. The candidates should have working knowledge of either english or Hindi or both.
• Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs.288 plus Millitary Service Pay Rs.2000 and other allowances.
• Selection Procedure : first there will a screening of the candiddates for (i) Physical fitness Test and (ii) Medical Standards and (iii) those candidates selected in the screening and are medically fit will be permitted to apear in the written examination which will be conducted on at HQ Recruiting Zone/ IRO Delhi Cantt on 05 July 2009. After this written examination those who will be declared successfull in the written exam will called for interview and training aptitude test at Panchmarhi (MP)

National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (II) - 2009

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the NDA-II and Naval Academy (NA) Examination, 2009 on 30th August, 2009 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wing of the NDA for 124th Course and Naval Academy for 44th [10+2 Executive Branch] course commencing 30th June 2010. Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible,

Eligibility:

• Age : Born between 2nd July, 1991 and 1st January,1994.
• Educational Qualificatio
• for Army : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
• For Air Force, Navy and Naval Academy : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University with Physics and Mathematics subjects
• Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in notice.

Application Form: The candidates must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examinations, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/ Post offices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 20/- only.

Fee: Rs.50/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment (OBC candidates required to pay full fee).

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals both male and female who have passed their final MBBS examination for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Army Medical Corps. Applicants for who have taken more than 2 chances in final MBBS need not apply.

Eligibility: Candidates must possess medical qualification. Post Graduate degree holders i.e. MD/MS/MCh/DM may also apply. PG Degree in following subjects will be given preference (a) Anaesthesia (b) Surgery (c) Obstetrics & Gyenaecology (d) Medicine. The applicant must have permanent registration from any State Medical Council/ MCI. Candidates who will be complting internship by the last date of submission of application may also apply.

Age : must not have attained 45 years of age on 31st Dec 2009.
