Applications are invited from male Indian citizens for appointment to following posts of Head constable (Radio Operator)/ Head Constable (Fitter) and of Assistant Sub Inspector (Radio Mechanic) in BSF

1. Head Constable (Radio Operator) : 176 posts (UR-69, OBC-43, SC-39,ST-25), Pay Scale : Rs.5200- 20200 (PB-I) Grade pay Rs. 2400/-, Age : 18-23 years
2. Head Constable (Fitter) : 11 posts (UR-5, OBC-2, SC-2, ST-2), Pay Scale : Rs.5200- 20200 (PB-I) Grade pay Rs. 2400/-, Age : 18-23 years
3. Assistant Sub Inspector (Radio Mechanic) : 51 posts (UR-20, OBC-12, SC-10,ST-9), Pay Scale : Rs.5200- 20200 (PB-I) Grade pay Rs. 2800/-, Age : 18-25 years

Application Fee: Each application should be accompanied by a crossed Bank Draft/Postal Order for Rs.50/-as examination fee in favour of The Inspector General or DIG/ Comdt to whom the application is addressed payable at respective SBI/ post office. SC/ST and Departmental (BSF) candidates are not required to submit examination fee.

Last Date : application should reach the addresses on or before 04/05/2009.

• Constable (GD) : 5349 posts in various states and UTs (UR-2782, SC-945,ST-347,OBC-1275), Age : 18-23 years as on 01/08/2009 (Relaxation as per GoI rules), Pay Band : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 + Grade pay Rs.2000
