Language Translator vacancy in DAVP  

Directorate of Advertising & Visual Publicity (DAVP)
(Ministry of Information & Broadcasting)


Applications are invited in the following regional languages including Hindi for casual translators as on need basis
  • Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malyalam, Marathi, Oriaya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu and Hindi


Elgibility
:

  1. Graduate level education in the concerned language
  2. Good Knowledge of Hindi/ English and the concerned language
  3. Desirable qualifications : Diploma/ Graduation in Mass Communication
  4. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in translation of Advertisement, booklets, posters etc.


Fees/ Translation Rates
: Rs.500/- upto 500 words and 50 paisa per word thereafter / As per DAVP rate


Proof Reading
: Rs.60/- per thousand words and upto 3 proofs and Rs.5/- per 500 words per extra proof.


Vetting
: Rs.200/- for upto 300 words and 50 paisa per word after that.


A test will be conducted by DAVP and written answer sheets will be sent to the third party/ experts for evaluation.
